Playing the Hand You're Dealt (Unframed)

Inspired by the life of Annie Oakley. Annie was born into a family experiencing hardship. Poor and hungry, Annie would supported her family by shooting game. Acquiring considerable skills with a shotgun, she later won competitions which rewarded her with recognition for her skillset. Annie later joined a circus whereby she dazzled audiences with trick shots that included splitting cards on their edges. Comedy and tragedy are two sides of the same coin: Annie Oakley played the hand she was dealt and transformed her life for the better as a result.
